A Calm, Comfortable Dental Experience for Your Family

What to expect

Five gentle steps from hello to next Visit

Step 01/05
01

Booking Your First Appointment

Scheduling made easy.

When you call, our team asks about the reason for your visit, finds a time that works for the whole family, and can often see siblings in one trip. If online is easier, each office has its own booking link above.

Special Considerations? Let Us Know.

  • If your child feels nervous about the dentist, tell us when you book. Our team keeps visits calm and reassuring, and you can request a visit from Scout, our therapy dog, for extra comfort.
  • If your child has special needs, we will plan ahead and make the accommodations that help your child feel safe and supported.

Flexible Payment Options

  • We accept most insurance plans, as well as Medicaid and CHIP, and can help you understand your benefits.
  • Our membership plan helps families without dental insurance keep up with preventive care.
  • CareCredit and Cherry financing options are available.

Before Your Appointment

We get you set up – without surprises.

To help your visit go smoothly, we send appointment reminders by text, email, or phone based on your preference, and we can provide forms electronically before the visit. If plans change, please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

What to bring: a photo ID, your child's insurance card if you have one, and records from a previous dental office if you are transferring care. Our team can help you request records if needed.

Prefer paper forms? Arrive about 15 minutes early so there is time for paperwork.

Check-In & Reception

A warm welcome in a kid-friendly space.

When you arrive, our front desk team greets you, confirms your appointment details, and reviews any remaining paperwork. Before treatment begins, we go over the estimated cost, including insurance coverage or membership benefits, so you are never guessing. We want you and your child comfortable before you ever reach the exam room.

Appointments typically last about one hour per patient. Morning and early-afternoon visits tend to have the shortest waits.

In the Exam Room

Gentle, thorough care – explained at every step.

A caring dental assistant walks your child to the treatment area, and parents are welcome to come along for support.

During a routine visit, your child receives:

  • A gentle cleaning and fluoride treatment to help protect against decay
  • A comprehensive dental exam by one of our experienced dentists

Your dentist explains each step, answers questions, and offers recommendations for your child. If more treatment is needed, we review the options with you before anything happens.

After Your Visit

We deliver clear next steps before you leave.

Before you go, the front desk reviews your child's care plan, goes over coverage, costs, and payment options, and schedules the next visit. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident about what comes next.
